Purpose:

To prevent ulnar deviation of the most ulnar finger and to block hyperextension of the PIP joint of the most ulnar finger.

Adjusting:

If required, the two rings can be squeezed closer together to achieve a less offset and reduced limit to hyperextension. They can be pulled further apart to achieve a greater offset and increased limit to hyperextension.
